Please: Read the coment of the user starglance below, it is sure to make you understand that this is a Gregorian Version.
The original one was composed by Enigma (Michael Cretu's project) and released in 1992. In addition to this, Gregorian was featuring the original.
However, they are singing this one without Cretu and they did it with a new instrument, the guitar....
The picture I found earlier in the web. I was a little bit lasy to do a video. Sorry fellows....
However, the user starglance gave me a light all about it:
The project ENIGMA was founded by Michael Cretu AND Frank Peterson! As Frank Peterson is also GREGORIAN's producer it was only a matter of time that GREGORIAN made their own version.
By the way: For the original Sadness Part one by Enigma they used samples from the CD "Paschale Mysterium" sung by Capella Antiqua Munich.
So GREGORIAN did not feature the original version.
GREGORIAN's version will be released on the forthcoming Best of Album
P.S.: Thanks to starglance
