Never watched Saber Rider, but what I can say at least is that the theme is pretty nice.

This here song is very awsome because I remember watching the show nearly 30 years ago when it used to air on Philadelphia's WGBS Philly57 every Weekday mornings at 7:30 A.M. just before leaving for Junior High School because the downstairs living room had one Black & White TV in the house so before the rest of the children got up to get dressed for school & all chances are I would have to watch the show & beat it outta there before School Bus arrived to pick me up for the trip to school but this musical introduction is a real 80's classic.

HOLY SHIT I HAVE FOUND IT!!!I remember watching this when I was like 4 years old, and until now I could never remember the name of it, just some vague memories of "space cowboy-guys and a giant robot". haha the goold old times, got the whole series on DVD. Just awesome.Captain Future, Bravestar, Silver Hawks and the Galaxy Rangers this is all a kid needs. :PWhy do i feel so old now? ;)

Ahh...the good ol' days. Back when Kids cartoons had the guts (and in some cases the nuts) to not treat kids like idiots that can't handle blood and death and just stuff that would be considered taboo nowadays in general. My favorite shows like Saber Rider, Voltron, MASK, Centurions, INHUMANIODS, just a plethora of great shows too many to name. And what was cool about all of them they kicked ass right from minute one with theme songs like this that are still cool as hell. Even today as an adult I have my own section in my music folders just filled with the best of the cartoon themes from my childhood. And if I decide to put it on in my car, I will always get someone listening from another car and either nodding in approval or even singing along with me cuz they remember too!!! Its so freakin' awesome when that happens! That's when I know, "HEY I wasn't the only fool to like these shows."
