Oh well I just didn't have enough room to say that I found a lot of good American DM in the process, too. Central/South America has some great bands, and so does Asia. I have a few reliable sources for downloading....ah ye olden days of Mediafire, Megaupload and blogsearch....a shame that those methods are gone or unreliable for the most part now.

So you like European DM? That is good stuff! There was an old website a few years back when they still had mediafire which contained many unknown gems from 80's-90's Sweden/Norway/Poland

Oh man, you name it! Once I heard that TBDM had been influenced by At The Gates, I looked them up (all of their albums are great, barring the last one which is OK). From there I found out about a lot of the Swedish death metal bands, from the Gothenburg scene (Unanimated, Dissection, Centinex), then from the Stockholm scene (old Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Unleashed), etc. Also a ton of other DM from all over the world. There's a lot of awesome DM out there - would you like some rec's?

Used to listen to them. 'Unhallowed' is basically 'Slaughter of the Soul' + blasting. Decent, but I suppose I outgrew it. I never cared for any of their other albums. The demos were cool at the time too. They were a stepping stone, but I ultimately stepped off of them.

Odin forbid we don´t all like all the bands you like. I´m sure if you looked through my entire CD or digital collection of metal, you would hate or don´t like a big part of it. Does that make me mad at you, not not at all. The cool thing about metal is the vast fucking sea of it, and its all different and caters to different peoples tastes. So if you cant handle me not liking TBDM´s sound, well your shit out of luck and have to deal with it.

Haha, all these Douche-bags hating on TBDM and shit. I bet 90% of them haven't actually listened to TBDM. Straight up, evil sounding, dark as fuck Melodic Death Metal. Devoid of any breakdowns or any of that lame shit. I don't get whats to hate. Death Metal for passion, not for fashion!
