Part 2 of some old Roy Harper footage that has recently surfaced. Five songs recorded live in studio. All five are in order in this playlist. But... recorded and filmed in which studio? Rumour has it that it's from Norwegian TV 1970. Roy has some vague recollection of the session but can't remember the 'where' or 'when'. We're working on that. Because of the songs being played, and the way some are being played, he thinks this session couldn't have been recorded after 1969.

These notes may develop. Check back for additional info...

'Today Is Yesterday' (Introduced here under a working title of 'Garden of Gethemane') was an outake written around the time of the album 'Come Out Fighting Ghengis Smith' (1968) but not released at that time. It has since been released on the compilation 'Today Is Yesterday' which is a collection of rare tracks and singles.

'Today Is Yesterday' is available at the artist's shop on cd, flac and mp3

I can never get enough of Roy, I consider myself very fortunate indeed to have had his music on tap so to speak for most of my life, and very proud to have passed on the beauty of his writing and music to my two children. Thank You Roy.

i really wish roy harper's songs weren't pulled off youtube every once and awhile. sure he has to make a living...but considering how damn awesome he is, I really do believe that there should be more than something available to the public for free listening. Not just cause it spreads the message he is trying to get across, but because his music should be cherished by all. Come on, let youtube be an introduction to Roy Harper for those who have not heard him yet :)
