Zdaje się, że mamy do czynienia z bardzo ciekawym demem w dzisiejszej recenzji - Turn Of The Tide (T&A Demo - Sep 30, 1997). Wszystko wskazuje na to, że piosenka już wtedy była nagrana, ale usłyszeliśmy ją po raz pierwszy dopiero na Travelling w 2012 roku. Piosenka 'przeleżała' więc 15 lat!I co ciekawe, nie zestarzała się prawie nic a nic przez ten czas. Porównuję demo z wersją z Podróżowania i pierwsza różnica to taka, że zrobili z tego uczuciową balladę pod Marie. Co ciekawe, ludzie ocenili to nagranie jako jedną z najlepszych nowych piosenek Roxette, co jak się okazuje nie jest do końca prawdą, bo numer powstał 15 lat temu. Może dlatego ma taki potencjał? Też zawsze zwracałem uwagę na TOTT, gdy słuchałem Travelling. Numer brzmi tak dobrze, bo jest oparty w dużej mierze na klasycznym instrumentarium.Demo jest szybsze, bardziej plastyczne i nacechowane słodką naiwnością, luzem, który zawsze cenię u Pera i często pozytywnie doświadczam tego na jego solowych płytach. Jeśli mam obiektywnie ocenić wersję z Travelling, to wydaje mi się, że jest nagrana z niepotrzebnym patosem. Głównie ten podniosły nastrój oddala wersję z płyty od dema, które zwiastowało piosenkę o zupełnie innym charakterze.

I kinda wonder what would it have been like to have this song on the HAND album? Another CBB-ish arrangement although we already had "Anyone" and "Cooper" with that kind of arrangement? And on an album where the ballads seemed to sound better than the midtempo and uptempo tracks IMO? This could be the BALLAD on this record if the production sounded stronger in a more Roxette-way! Instead it just goes along with "Reveal" and "No One Makes It" ... not my favourite sound.
