I must get this film before I die, MUST. On the topic though, this album should be presented and listened to as a whole, it just works better film or no film. Also, Dave Gilmour once commented that Floyd's soundtrack stuff was complete rubbish at one point. Felt it was just reason enough to earn some money but devoid of the needed attention to creating art. The odd thing is perhaps they've mellowed over the years on that point. But it's odd since I can't hear it being susceptibly worse
