This is awful. Huge fan of everything through Silence, like some of the later stuff, but this is idiotic, and against pretty much everything he's been about forever.

The Rollins Band is sort of a sample platter of 90's alt rock. Jack of all trades, yet master of none. Here, he's sampling Red Hot Chili Peppers. In another song, he samples Stone Temple Pilots. In another, it's Faith No More.I think the Rollins Band's weakness is the identity crisis. It doesn't know if it want's to be West Coast rap rock, Seattle grunge, or nu metal.

Rollins will always be a punk rock icon and I have respect for most of his work; but that being said, let's be honest ... this is FAR from his best effort. Cliché lyrics with simple, almost forced rhymes, a practically non-existent chorus and much of the same boobs-and-babes excess as the same hair metal bands he's made fun of throughout his career. A far cry from Life Time, that's for sure.
