Replace "as" with "that", and capitalize the first "Curt". That should save me from the grammar Nazis.

I enjoyed a lot of the songs on ELAHE, but I felt it lacked the creativity of the SOL, Elemental, and RATKOS albums. Of course Tomcats was hard to beat in terms of experimentation. I felt as though Roland made the best of ELAHE as he could, and curt's role was classic Curt; marketing and publicity.

If I remember correctly, I got the RATKOS (2009 re-release) which had The Madness of Roland on Amazon as an import CD only at $24US, which I was more than happy to pay. I recommend you get Tomcats, it might still be available on Amazon. Under Ether came up in my playlist today in my car (Bluetooth), the stereo effects were really cool. (ELAHE - no comment)

Thank you, I'll give that a try.

It doesn't appear to be on SM&L (the only one I'm lacking - fixing to rectify that) but it's on the version of RATKOS with bonus tracks. I tried to put in a link to it on Amazon, but YT doesn't like that. Google the name of the album with "bonus tracks" - you'll find it. Even though I already own RATKOS, I think it'll be worth the purchase for those extra songs.

Whatever he does I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I was wondering if you have any idea how I could get a copy of "The Madness Of Roland" on CD? I'm not sure if it's on SML or not, and so far the only albums I don't own are that one, ELAHE, and Tomcats Screaming Outside.

YES. I would *love* that.

I would love to see him take a stab at American blues rock. I mean old timey, sorrowful, blues rock. He has the voice for it, and I imagine lyrically it would be as thought provoking as ever.

They've never made the same album twice, so I'm very excited to see what they're coming up with. I agree with you about RO's experimentations; lyrics or no, he never disappoints.

1. I wonder what direction the two are taking with the Tears For Fears album. 2. Roland already has quite an interesting and much appreciated instrumental collection from outtakes of TFF albums and experimental solo work. Will be very anxious to see if there is any truth to the solo album rumour.

Roland is in LA with Curt even as we speak, working on a new album. According to Curt, they have "a few songs they're happy with." *dances with joy* I've heard from other fans that Roland might be putting out another solo album, but it'd be instrumentals only. I really hope he does.
