@scoobysnax954 the only solution I see for corporate greed running amok is to actually hold them accountable. but considering that BP is a major part of one of the worlds largest economic forces, that seems highly unlikely. Oil Executives appeared before congress and basically told them "we'll do whatever we want, fuck you." why? because they pay their checks. BP flat out told them they lied about the amount of oil coming, and they would continue lying. (Wish I could link it)

And actually, they make more money off of cleaning up the spill that they would make if the gas was in your car, so they are going to drag it out as long as they can. (There is a new tax on oil products to help clean the spill. it all goes to BP, so they are making money off of ALL oil companies.)
