@MrGrevy I never claimed it was the best version. I said it was better than the version on Tales of the Great Rum Runners and it is better. The harmonies were terrible on Boys from the Barroom on the Tales from the Great Rum Runners album, and the clapping on the Box of Rain CD and audience enthusiasm added a lot to it that wasn't there on the studio version. Have you ever heard the version on Tales from the Great Rum Runners?

I like the version of Boys in the Barroom on this CD with the audience clapping. That song is totally horrible accapella on the studio album Tales of the Great Rum Runners. They are all singing out of key with each other on it, plus it doesn't have the clapping. I may upload that next actually if it's not already on Youtube.. I'll upload Promontory Rider for you as well.
