I dont know... i just like music that is interesting and doesnt gt boring for a long time. And bands like Opeth, RS, ... and i think D.T. too are ding such music. You know they are not doing patterns in songs and in records in common. You cant say what comes next. Like Heritage from Opeth. D.T . I dont know.I like Petruccis guitar (Suspended A. was amazing) but I cant get trough the singers voice. Hes not bad singer but a bit annoying to me:( Btw. Man, you have good taste, Opeth is a great band. For me the best is Porcupine Tree, but I know many don't agree. However I guess you are more advised than me. I've been a fan of D.T. for long time, but now I hate them. I love Fates Warning, and I still listen to the old progressive bands like Marillion! But now, I'm more into electronic music, of course, time to time I go back to my first love: prog.11 years ago

For me ... yes. Riverside + Opeth are holding first place. You dont have to agree ... its my opinion, or better said music taste. If you think some are better and would also suit my taste, throw them to me. I'll be thankful for any good music cuz today it is sort of rarity.11 years ago
