@AlmostaFlipinSkater it's not only the guitarists that changed the band, sure that made a difference obviously, but rise against evolved as a whole whether you like it or not. I love it all.

Tim is wearing camo cargo shorts! Man, times have changed. And that is one boring ass crowd. Awesome song though.

when mr. precision left, todd made rise against better. when todd left, chris kept the epicness of rise against (maybe downgrade a little, but still amazing). but when chris left, zach just brought this band downhill. it's sad.

@AlmostaFlipinSkater More like matured. And they WERE on a major label but they released Black Crosses, a follow up to White Crosses, on Tom Gabel's own record label. It's much more raw-sounding than its predecessor.

@strawberriesandgravy Rise Against didn't sellout, they still play their songs with the same angst and passion as they used to.. I've started to lose respect for Against Me! as they don't have the same passion they used to.. I've seen both bands recently and I have to say Rise Against had more skill and more fire. I also got a chance to talk to Tim, Zack, and Joe and they're modest, chill guys.

@strawberriesandgravy well AM! DID sell out. They sung about being anarchists and how much they hate major labels, and then they sign to one and sing how they are no longer anarchists

@UltimatePunch Yeah i know what you mean, and I agree completely :/ I just hate it when people call bands like Rise Against and Against Me! sellouts because they signed to a major label. :P

@UltimatePunch Ahhh i see...i getcha and i completely agree with that statement....Rise Against did get big but i guess it was inevitable...their music is amazing; all of it. Whose to say they never stopped playing hardcore punk....just because the two new albums are more melodic and alternative doesnt necesarily mean they have changed completely; they just want a unique sound for each album. I hate when people say "they are two different bands.... old and new"
