@billct2 - thanks for the info. i did not know reeves co-wrote and he definitely deserves credit too. this track came from an album that i picked up in texas at a willie nelson and friends charity golf event. alex was there to perform and he was selling his, what appeared to be, self produced cd's. so many good songs on those discs. i really need to put some more of them up.

He wrote it with Eddie Reeves, great to hear in the original voice. Where did this version come from? I understand they were originally going to release it under the name "Running Bear & Goldstein".
