yeah i was amazed how good he was and how he acted, looked and sounded so young. He was very witty and the band... well what can you say...they were awesome in all the songs they sang and they all performed like they really wanted to be their for the crowd. the instrumentals were something to behold. Nothing like the music from the 60's. I just posted a video promoting Music trivia nights :) In saying that John Lennon is my hero and will always be the greatest man that's walked this planet :)

Hi peekay22. I was there as well (Sunday night). As you said ... what a GREAT show ! In fact, I'd love to see the whole thing again.. immediately ! Ringo was always my favourite Beatle , mainly because of his brilliant self targeted sense of humor which was really showcased at his Melbourne shows. I roared when he came back after the All Starr Band had done some utterly blistering instrumental workout. Ringo said quietly from the drum kit 'Ahhhh dear, sorry about this .. It's me again" !!

Just saw Ringo and the All Starr Band last night at Festival Hall Melbourne (it's where The Beatles played when here in 1964). Was an amazing concert. He is 72 going on 30 and his voice hasn't changed a bit. The best part of the show was how he and his band (made up of rock legends) promoted Peace and Love. This song is a perfect example.
