It's good that the band's changing. How long can you write the same songs all over again? I remember I was disappointed with White Noise at first, but now I think it's one of their best albums.

Chris Cheney is such an amazing song writer. I'd love to see them go back to their rockabilly/punk/jazz infused shred, but just sit back and appreciate the song writing, and not how the band has changed.

Unfortunately , not a patch on their previous stuff. Seems they have gone for a more mass market sound. Sounds too over produced and evened out, there is no edge to this creation at all.

I'm sad to say that I agree with @glycoboy and @Sylartichot. I have waited so long for this album and it is so far a disappointment, I really hope the album grows if I listen more. But of course, the old songs are still world class stuff!

Seriously I just listened to the new album for the second time, I just don't like it, where are the awesome soundtracks, the epic solos, the different rythmes, the badass music ? I don't recognize them.
