Me and bruv were....advantages of being Glaswegian:-)) This whole concert has fully filmed by a multi-camera crew with big heavy mixing desk, this is only the second snippet I've seen and he always gives at least 2.5 hrs in Glasgow, anyway

That audience was definitely not clapping hard enough.

I don't think there is an imbalance in the voices, this song sounds best as a two-part harmony with equal volumes, I think that's how RT intended it to be.

Zorn's voice is good, but on this occasion the mixer should have brought it down a notch or two.

well, I for one think that Pete Zorn's vocal harmonies are just superb a higher pitched voice that blends wonderfully with Thompson's growl and the mixing also sounds great to me as is Joel Zifkin's fiddle an all-round first class performance thanks so much for posting, for all of us who could not get there

Why more people don't know of RT is mind boggling. I used to fly around the country to see him, but can't afford it anymore. Guitarist/lyricists even close to as good as RT are few.

I've seen Thompson with Zorn several times. Zorn is probably the single best onstage foil and backup singerThompson's had... ...since Christine Collister (and Clive Gregson). Sorry, kids - Zorn doesn't "suck". He's pretty faithful to Linda's original from (cough cough) thirty years ago.

He does not really suck, there's just an imbalance between the 2 voices. The backings are heard too strongly, that's all.

Don't know how many times I've heard Richard sing this great song...but honestly, this is not one of the better versions! Sorry.

Happy 63rd, RT. You've still got it, and then some.

Hi Everybody!

This song always sounds far better with Thompson doing the vocals along with a female. I'm surprised that he's never seemed to have realised this. He could even have a woman doing a guest spot with him for this particular song. I don't think the other guy singing here adds anything at all.

Excellent....great version of a great song.

granted, the 2nd dude sucks. A woman would have been better (to make it like the orig. recording with his then wife)

they are just emulating the original record
