@SirAltairTheGr8 You guys are just sad. 1 you both looked at each others profiles to find something to attack. and Anways whats the point about arguing when its all personal taste. Besides I like this song and band, the old and new Stratovarius (with and without Tolkki) I like Sonata Artica, I think Leverage is a pretty good bad, and although Kotipelto's voice is not 'macho' it is still awesome and perfectly suited to power metal

@IsraIKC I'm sorry I can't say the same. I've never enjoyed shooting fish in a barrel. And no, Kotipelto just has a bad voice, period. I realize the implication you're trying to make, but there's no saving him. He's too nasally, his vibrato is incredibly forced/artificial and his voice trembles constantly, nevermind how absolutely ball-less his singing is. He's everything wrong with eighties Michael Kiske without any of his redeeming qualities. QED, Kotipelto is just awful.

@IsraIKC Abridged version: "I'm even more butthurt about how you made fun of me, so I scoured your profile for anything I could attack." I must really be digging in. Leverage is a great band, and one that doesn't profess to be "metal". It's hard rock, very eighties-driven. I listen to a wide array of music, as I'm not a closeminded shut-in. Moreover, I don't like Shy, I like the voice of the girl covering it. Best of all, neither is near as girly as Kotipelto's whiny voice. Good talk, sport.

@IsraIKC You talk as though you know what "metal" is, and you have Eagleheart by Stratovarius favorited? Christ, what a joke. In short, what you really mean is that you're a butthurt Stratovarius fan who's angry that they aren't playing frilly cheese metal anymore. Cool, glad we cleared that up.

100% Agree. Timo Tolkki has made some amazing work as Stratovarius. However as RR New Era was decent but that's about it. This band has been a big disappointment to many Stratovarius fans, and this new style doesn't help it. I do like a few songs but that's about it.

I completely agree with you, stratovarius is an excellent metal band, but timo tolkki has left the music style that made him and stratovarius stand out from the "few" (note the sarcasm...) power metal bands. Sure, i know that musicians can't keep making the same music over and over, because their sound evolves as they mature as artists, but his new work seems to me like it's more about reaching out to a broader audience. In my opinion, tolkki has taken a 180-degree turn... for the worse.

Never really liked this particular song. But the guitarist did form Stratovarius which in my opinion blows most metal genre bands of it's time.

This song sounds like something that would be on one of those 80's american movies with bikers, trying to look tough... They (the band) shouldn't call themselves metalheads, or a metal band... Maybe a sucky rock band, but that's about it.
