EDIT: I just found out that this song is no longer being sold on iTunes. It's a shame, since it was hard to get a hold of to begin with. (You could buy it with "Must Have Done Something Right" as a bonus single.) It really is a great song, and I hope you all enjoy it! Relient K did a cover of it in acoustic on a newer CD, but I don't think it's as good. I think it's now called "Hope for Every Fallen Man (Acoustic)" but I could be mistaken.

A song I wish was more recognized in the music industry. I am convinced this song should be on the (Christian) radio, and played regularly, too. The only problem is that this song is not very well known, since it was a free bonus track with Relient K's, "Must Have Done Something Right (Bonus Version)" single.

The lyrics are in the video. But if you really want them in text format, they're also right here;

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you push it up through the soil,

I will shake your filthy hand.

You may be dead to me but that don't mean we can't be friends.

Now it's time to get over this,

Long as it's clear you understand,

That I will never trust a single thing you say again.

Because the judge of you is someone I could never be,

Is why you should thank the Lord that it is Him, and it's not me.

Don't give up, it's not the end,

There's hope for every fallen man,

To pick themselves up when they think they can,

Because with every passing second comes a second chance.

Oh-oh-oh

You stole so much from me and there is nothing left to take,

Save a hard learned lesson on how to not make the same mistake.

And you may be delirious but that is something that will fade,

After you confess that this mess is all something that you made.

Oh, because the judge of you is someone I could never be,

Is why you should thank the Lord that it is Him, and it's not me.

But don't give up, it's not the end.

There's hope for every fallen man,

To pick themselves up when they think they can,

Because with every passing second comes a second chance

Oh-oh-oh

Don't give up, it's not the end.

You'll get back on your feet again.

Forgivness can be given when you think it can,

Because with every passing second comes a second chance

Oh-oh-oh

'Cause with every passing second comes a second chance,

Take a good look at yourself and know,

You've got yourself a ways to go.

But difficult is not impossible,

You can take back all the lost control.

Take a good look at yourself and see,

You'll emerge eventually.

As long as your heart's not too far gone,

From the only thing that can save you from yourself...

Forgivness can be given when you think it can,

'cause with every passing second comes a second chance.

But don't give up, it's not the end.

There's hope for every fallen man,

To pick themselves up when they think they can,

Because with every passing second comes a second chance,

Oh-oh-oh

Don't give up, it's not the end.

You'll get back on your feet again.

Forgivness can be given when you think it can,

Because with every passing second comes a second chance.

Excellent song. Thank you so much Relient K!

The song Fallen Man is not mine, nor do I intend to make it seem like mine. It is, however, Copyrighted by Relient K, and Gotee Records. In other words, you pretty much aren't allowed to make a profit off this song, unless you have legal rights. That's right, and you probably don't. I'm gonna say {at least} 999,999 out of a million of you don't have legal rights to this song. If you do, great. Have fun making profit. :D

In short, I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG

LifeHomeProductions and its (super awesome) logo IS, mine, however, and unauthorized copying of my logo would be a very bad idea. (But if you really really really want a copy, just email me and I can give you the full-sized copy of it. No joke)

Love y'all!

It is currently unavailable through official means. iTunes used to have it....... You'll either have to find someone that owns the song....or find a download online like I did. The acoustic version is available on Relient K's 2008 "The Birds And The Beesides" EP.

One of the hardest-to-find Relient K songs to date. It truly is no longer available for purchase due to the fact it has been taken off iTunes. I luckily found a copy through other means but.....Relient K should really re-release this song. As much as I love the acoustic, this one totally tops it. This song was originally planned to be on "Five Score And Seven Years Ago".....but didn't make the final cut. As fans, we should start sending out requests for the official re-release of this song!

The song is all about forgiveness and grace, in a sense. Without God, I don't believe that we as humans would know what those things are. I just don't understand how you can say you're atheist but still believe in forgiveness, something that is rooted in God's heart. I'm not trying to start anything, I definitely respect your beliefs. This is just something to think about if you want to.
