The latest music video by NYC's very own: The Baghdaddios. Some have refered to it as a nice homage to The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash and even Nirvana - many of the groups that influenced the band in their formative days. The song was produced and recorded by Chris Hammill (thanks, Pal!). Special thanks to Steve Pang (of Otto's Shrunken Head - for supplying the stage/recording space), James Smith (and his Ma, for also providing the garage - and recording space), to extras: James, Joey Kelly, Gary Pellegrino, his lovely girlfriend, Angela, his really cool kid (I'd be proud to have a son like that), Andrew Gelardi, Frankie The Kid and saxman Danny Ray! And of all the extras Michael Linn (aka Mikey Rats) didn't just appear in the video - he played drums on this particular song (true dat, Borat!).
Special-special thanks to Maureen and the rest of the crew at The Shannon Pot (Long Island City - Court Square Stop) for letting us use their bar for the coolest shot in the vid (hey, if it's good enough for the CBS TV series "Person Of Interest" to use, it's MORE than cool enough for us! Great bar - stop by sometime and say "hi" to Mo, Joanne, Rene and Sala - plus all the cool regulars!). And, yes, thank you to all the great people at Funkadelic Studios - near midtown Manhattan - for giving us a GREAT studio to shoot at (next time: TO THE ROOF!). And, yes, thanks to the MTA for providing a lot of the inspiration for this video - sometimes it's a challenge being a New Yorker!
Produced, filmed, directed and edited by the multi-talented Gary Weber! (Thanks, Gary!)
