The Rega P25 plays Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping on vinyl! I have two copies of this LP. One is a promo copy. I did clean the record with my VPI VH-16.5 before recording it, but the begining there is a slight crackle on the right channel.
This video is meant as a demostration and critique of the vinyl media format, the Rega P25 turntable, Zyx R100H cartridge, and the Audio Research PH5 tube phono preamp. No copyright infringement was expressed or implied. Please support the artist by purchasing their music.
Equipment used: Rega P25 w/J.A. Mitchell 'Technoweight' and Rega white belt upgrade, Zyx R100H moving coil cartridge, Audio Research PH5 tube phono preamp, Presonus Inspire interface, and Wireworld Eclipse II interconnects. The cartridge was aligned using a Feickert protractor. Tracking weight was set to 1.95g. The audio track was recorded at 88.2k / 24bit. No EQ, cleanup, level maximizing, compression or processing was done. What you hear is the raw audio, straight from the vinyl.
