I agree... this is one of Ray's best recordings EVER! So glad for the internet, or we may have never been able to see & hear these performances. I grew up on Ray in the 50's & 60's, and this is the sort of soulful, bluesy & gospel sound that still chills me to the bone! Amen Ray!

Ray's music has an almost unbearable intensity compared to today's pablum. The Raelettes send me shivers down the spine and so does Billy Preston's hammond-solo. Billy was one of the most important key players in the 60s and 70s doing session with the Beatles and the Stones. I think it was Ray Charles who discovered him.
