The moment anyone here can pour their guts out into a song and be able to compose something, then sing it in front of sold out crowds and make a brilliant career out of it...then you can try at a 'non specific' and useless comment. Maybe and only then will it carry any weight, although even then you'd just come off looking jealous.

I always thought when he said 'before I quit', he was talking about music, especially considering 'I'm Dead (But I Don't Know It)' from that album, but I think its about quitting on the ex-wife he's singing to, which is also unfortunate of course.
