If you want to want skate all day, do it, if you want to go to work, do it, it's about not letting people tell you what to do. I am punk, but do I "dress" punk? In the correct definition yes I do, I dress the way I feel like it, I don't care if cargo pants/shorts are out of style I like it and you aren't wearing it so stfu.

Punk is like anarchy, the second you start attaching rules and labels then you betray the concept, punk is, and thats all, you can't "be" punk, but you embrace it. unfortunatly most punks are just self concious kids looking to belong to something, so they choose "anti culture". however punk "music" actually started out more like pop (listen to the clash, or bad brains, or any 70s era punk music) but nothing i can say can change the way people think. fuck it, just say your piece and be done
