Hey, anyone wanna tell me what you think is on the cover to the album? To me, it really looks like the guy sitting down is cooking up a hit. The posture and the position of the hands...I've seen it enough times to know..And the other one walking...that's life, passing you by, not waiting.

Yeah this one is just fucking great...I'd have to say the album was pretty close to the high water mark of Rancid ' s creativity.

We used this link for today's Song of the day, cause it's our singer's favorite Rancid song, on our Facebook page. Mikey bought this album the day it came out. No band played punk in the 90's as good as Rancid. facebookdotcom/MasonSummersMusic

This song was and is just fucking epic. If I were to make a documentary tracing the progression of Jamaican, English, and American music from MoTown to ska and rocksteady to oi! and punk to reggae to skacore and beyond, this would be played during the closing credits.

@NoSurvivorsInAmerica um.. this is from 1998. its not new. its not like they "turned into" a reggae band. listen to the 3 albums after this one. get your facts straight before you make statements like that.

@NoSurvivorsInAmerica Listen to Tim Armstrong's solo album -A Poet's Life- you might be disappointed, but I loved it. If you listen to one type of genre or subgenre and hate it when a band changes, if you were to listen to Rancid's entire catalog like the Clash's including Rancid's new album including Let the Dominos fall, you will find different styles some subtle some not like this song. Stop being closed minded.

@NoSurvivorsInAmerica Ever listen to more than just the Clash's singles? They had tons of different styles, they had some songs that were basically more reggae sounding, some punk, this song is from the album life won't wait, came out in 98, but anyway, Rancid will always be amazing whether or not they mix up styles or not, reggae, skapunk, punk, oi! whatever it just makes them that much damn better being able to adapt to other styles within an album.
