Ram Jam, like a Savatage, is a great band that is underrated and mostly overlooked.  Their 'sound' was ahead of its time by a nearly a decade.  Also, they peaked during the Disco Era...when rock was nearly dead.  People were listening to Donna Summer, Village People, the BeeGees, and etc when Ram Jam was jamming rock at their best.  So, Ram Jam proves an eternal truth...that timing is everything....and that a certain type of genius appearing at the wrong time is as good as DOA.

You're so right! There is a greatest hits album that has many MANY awesome songs! I think they only had two albums though so the greatest hits is pretty much both those albums... lol

Ram Jam at the Rock and Roll Music Hall of Fame would really boost their popularity. DJs for radio stations might actually play more songs of theirs than just Black Betty.
