How could somebody find such an awesome powerful riff that's so easy to play, you'd think a riff like that would've been cherry picked right away, pure genius.

Thanks for your lesson and your enthusiasm. However the feel is not the same as Ritchie's. On the fifth note of the main riff you should let the notes ring out for another beat. On the record where the fifth note is you play two notes. This weakens the emphasis which this great riff has at its beginning. Your sixth note ( a tone lower) isn't on the record. Listen to Paul Gilbert, he does the same thing so you are in good company. Sorry if I seem over critical but I'm a longstanding Deep Purple fan and saw Rainbow playing this on their first UK tour in 1976. Sorry to seem picky.

Mike, can you break down the cool lick part that you played fast. I'm close to figuring it out, but I think u nailed it. I'm trying to come up with a happy medium between the Blackmore Version and the way Aldrich plays it. Aldrich does alot of pull off's I believe live. Let me know.
