Radiohead - "Where I End And You Begin. (The Sky Is Falling In.)"

Live on From The Basement, 2008. Lyrics/transcript:

There's a gap in between

There's a gap where we meet

Where I end and you begin

And I'm sorry for us

The dinosaurs roam the earth

The sky turns green

Where I end and you begin

(2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, get to heaven!)

I am up in the clouds

I am up in the clouds

And I can't and I can't come down

I can watch but not take part

Where I end and where you start

Where you, you left me alone

You left me alone

X will now mark the place

Like the parting of the waves

Like a house falling into the sea

Into the sea

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

There'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

And there'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

There'll be no more lies

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

I will eat you all alive

----------------------------------------------

- Shall we do that again then?

- Do you really need to?

- I'm joking.

What's that thing that Ed O' Brien's using with his guitar with his strumming hand at the start and at 3:10?

@Suleimaan I felt the same. But when I jumped in the river again, I just listen what I want, and really very good music, inclunding locals. I believe Radiohead opened my ears.

I think i may have a bit of an addiction, ever since i properly listened to the bends like a year and a half ago I haven't properly listened to any other band. It's not a bad thing, but is anyone else like this, where no matter what song you listen, it just doesn't match up to Radiohead.

"I will eat you alive. I will eat you alive. There'll be no more life. There'll be no more lies."I fucking love how the anger in the song builds and builds and builds until you get to those final lyrics. And when you reach that point in the song it's not a gaudy outburst like so many other bands will do, but instead a somber and menacing proclamation.I would never have guessed this song was about climate change until someone pointed it out to me, then it seemed so head-slappingly obvious. That's the way lyrics should be written.

Hail to the Thief is their most underrated album.
