sorry this is a zillion times better than anything sam smith splurged out why tf did they decide on his song instead?!! even if the director disagreed over something with the band or whatever, this song is superior to pretty much any other bond song and they are beyond clueless to not see that

I'm not the biggest fan of Radiohead but my god is this song so much better than Writing's on the Wall. I would love for someone to create another CGI opening that matches this song more because trying to match it up to the one used in the film doesn't work since the song is too short (but it works to an extent).

I think many were hoping that Adele would return to sing the theme song for SPECTRE, and I'm sure even many more were disappointed when crappy Sam Smith was picked instead. His song was crap, and I can't believe it won an Oscar. I'm guessing because the competition wasn't very good, either. This song, however, sounds much more interesting. It's not the typical Bond theme song, but its hypnotic; you can't help but listen to its atonal nature. I can see why the studio heads were wary of this work by Radiohead, but I feel it suits the movie much more well than Sam Smith's song. Hell, the song is actually called SPECTRE! You must suck as a lyricist for a Bond theme song if you can't work in the title of the movie you're composing for!
