I remember hearing an interview with Thom Yorke a while back in which he talked about the huge influence that this song had been for him - you only have to compare the Elvis Costello original to Radiohead songs such as Fake Plastic Trees to see this influence in practice - so not really a big surprise to hear Radiohead covering it. Great song!

Oh my sweet Lord. I grew up on Elvis Costello and still love him. Then I discovered Radiohead a little later in my life. Then... my two worlds collided. What beautiful, strange, poetic art.

Very cool! And surprising in that you really have go to digging into EC's catalogue to find it. On the other hand, I'm sure Thom and the boys have intensely studied the masters, such Costello, Partridge and Weller.
