for some reason i think that patriotism has something to do with this...although i think May likes Adam Lambert for his stage antics similar to Freddie, he loves Paul because of their british connection that makes these somgs great.

Firstly, there's a reason this lineup is called Queen Plus Paul Rodgers people. It was not meant to a Queen reincarnation.You got to hear a great singer put his stamp on Queen songs and Queen gave a fired up versions of Pauls songs.

There are much better Paul Rodger performances than this one. The best PR performance of this song I saw on youtube is quite amazing. Very enjoyable. But this... I don't know.

What people fail to realize is that Mr. Rodgers was already an established veteran rock vocalist before Queen ever really hit the big time and before Bohemian Rhapsody even blew up. Listen to Free, or Bad Company or The Firm the super group he had with Jimmy Page from the 80's Paul simply takes these songs and adds his own input. While Adam Lambert fails at trying to imitate Freddie. I would much rather see this.
