"Your Fear" is track #5 from their 1990 album "Beg To Differ"

Beg To Differ is Prong's second album and first released under the CBS label. It can best be described as "thrash metal before groove metal". The album also includes one live track ("Third From The Sun", a Chrome cover) recorded at CBGB's, New York in 1989. Brian "Pushead" Schroeder did the design and cover artwork for the album.

Tommy Victor - Vocals/Guitar

Mike Kirkland - Bass

Ted Parsons - Drums

Somehow this makes me wanna be 20 again and hope I will never be 20 ever again at the same time. Still, this is soooo much better than the garbage they have been putting out since the turn of the millennium... With my sincerest apologies to genuine, actual garbage anywhere. It was metaphorical...

Prong has so many riffs that are still implanted and always lurking in the back of my brain. So glad to have them as an influence.

fuck me!! Prong Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies?? Pretty much my perfect gig right there. Always loved Prong but never seen them live, Suicidal Tendencies hold the same cult value for me. Saw Pantera support and absolutely blow Megadeth off the stage in Birmingham UK on the countdown to extinction/Vulgar display of power tour, but I wish I'd seen Prong! Special band in my heart.

Headbangin then proceeded. Was the younger of the crew, accepted, validated.fresh meat. All sort of weird as I was trippin balls at the time.17 was a good age.

You're right, I actually made a typo. I was reading about when they recorded "Third From The Sun" and "1989" stuck in my head. lol Yeah, this is one of my favorite albums.

This whole CD is filled with great riffs by Tommy, but I've always liked this song the best.

Yeah, you're right in a way. Their EP "Primitive Origins" came out in 1987. However, Prong considered "Force Fed" to be their first proper album...Saw them in support of the "Beg To Differ" CD in NYC back in 1990. They were really cool. Allowed us to get on stage with them and stage dive. Didn't have security rush us off. Think the bill was Prong, Pantera & Suicidal Tendencies. Good times...
