Kate Bush also does a beautiful elegy, to the human sacrifice that is music. ("Blow Away") This tune and Roberts Box, may have been a nod to an "X" fellow band mate as well as to all the dead icons of rock, past present and future.

Me, too. This is written for a suicide, though. Only there won't be any "fuss" over me.

One can't ignore Mr Wilson's extraordinary style...the right wrist is moving around in a way I've never seen before. Quite amazing it is...I agree about feeling sad watching him. Though I'm glad we can. xx

Am I the only person who cares about the compositional sophistication of these tunes. All hail to the rock of Julliard.

Great stuff. One of my favorites. Great to get a chance to see the finest of rock drummers at work, too. Usually don't get to see much of Mr Wilson.

Tunes like this and "In the Autumn of My Madness" really set this incredible musical unit apart from the rest of the 5-chord repeating pop-rock talent shows in the genres of Rock music. The lush interplay between the lyrically impacting drumming by BJ and the intense piano arpeggio by Brooker on this tune in particular is as intoxicatingly haunting and gripping as that by Elvin Jones and Coltrane in Kulu Se Mama. Their music is truly an art form. Thank you so much for posting this!!!

Barrie Wilson. Probably one of the very best percussionists ever. Powerful yet with delicacy. Low seated yet dominating, without overwhelming. Why do so many outstanding artists have to go in their prime.
