The true godfather of shock-rock!!! Here in the states, he is overshadowed by the likes of Cooper HOWEVER.....this man has always had the most superb singing voice and he is hands down, a brilliant performer. I love you Arthur!!!

RE: mentions below of 'they' (Brown is the only original in this lineup) and who is living and surviving since the late 60s incarnation of the band. From the lineup that did 'Fire' and its corresponding 'Crazy World of... ' album, drummer Drachen Theaker and organist Vincent Crane (later with Atomic Rooster) have departed this world. Back in '68 is was rumoured that Carl Palmer (who replaced Theaker) was on the band's cover of James Brown's 'Money'. He, later of Atomic Rooster, ELP and Asia is still going strong. Producer Kit Lambert died in the early 80s, but associate producer Pete Townshend is still occasionally kicking things up with The Who.
