A lone, broken & crumpled, hooded figure lays still, amongst the debris at the very bottom of a ruined skyscraper, as the camera slowly rotates whilst it pans up vertically through the many holes where floors used to be. Rain silently blankets the scene in the grey-tinged dusk. The rest of humanity wakes to the realisation that their world has been saved from impending obliteration. None know how, or shall ever know. The screen fades to black whilst lightning distantly flashes once overhead over the prone figure. The credits roll.

i can't stop listening to this, like everyone else is commenting, i've found this to be absolutely stunningly beautiful; i only stumbled onto it because i was listening to tracks plaid did for tekkonkinkreet and decided to listen to some of their other work. it is amazing and so respectable that Plaid took the essence of an old greek song and transformed it into almost a ritual archaic greek song. The original is a favorite yet this version still sounds even better, in it's "undressed" and minimalistic expression. I cannot refrain from thanking you, Plaid.
