I want to express my deepest respect to the outstanding singer Placido Domingo, a contemporary of whom I am. Not once Domingo sang music of Russian composers in the original language (as here) as well as in the operas "Eugene Onegin" and absolutely wonderful in "The Queen of Spades" in the Metropolitan Opera House and in the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Placido Domingo was a frequent guest to St. Petersburg and he is very appreciated and loved by the audience there. I wish Maestro Placido Domingo health and long creative life!
