I feel like there should be some sort of support system for anyone who isn't in the pixies, so that we can somehow come to reconcile never being half as awesome as these guys.

One of my faves. Fucking beautiful. Well, I must admit the album version does it a bit more justice, heh. It's so damned pretty.

Without the Pixies there would be no Nirvana band. It's a shame that Black Francis (Frank Black) and Kim Deal split apart. I have been a fan of the pixies for the last 26 years and always lamented they split away.

Je devais aller les voir aux Eurokéennes de Belfort, mais sans Kim c'est plus pareil.

This was the first time ever I heard the Pixies (on VPRO's 'Onrust', great tv show by BramVan Splunteren). I was thirteen. It changed my life. Watching this again helped me to remember why I still like them so much. (as they're pretty mediocre these days)

Indeed Bowie said The Pixies is probably the best American band ever. Bono, Thom Yorke, and Blur have also praised highly the Pixies. And it's evident that Nirvana owes much to Pixies, Kurt himself saying that his favorite album was Surfer Rosa.

3 tigers who had to ride the Pixies down the River Euphrates were not happy with this song.

Check the 2002 documentary called GOUGE where you see U2 and Bowie talking about THE best band of all times: The Pixies.

I don't have anything against corporate rock per se unless it sucks like Linkin Park
