Frank's voice isn't the same and it probably never will be but you know what? I'm not gonna hold it against' him cuz he's Frank freaking Black freaking Francis. The greatest songwriter for the greatest band. Most singers voices ware with age and knowing how much he's screamed, it doesn't suprise me that it sounds like it does. But his voice still sounds really good and i wouldn't hesitate to buy a ticket if they played a live show in my area.
