On May 9, 1965, Phil Ochs came to The Ohio State University and sang on the Oval in support of Free Speech on campus. Yesterday (April 22, 2015) a group who were part of the Free Speech movement at OSU had a 50 year reunion, and several in our group were friends of Phil. As we recounted stories during the day, Phil Ochs was honored for his contribution.

I too wish I could see the whole performance. Absolutely beautiful sad, haunting voice. Even after all these years...not much as changed and the song is as fresh as when he first sang it.

Thx for posting this. Great video. Phil Ochs's career was assassinated by the 'drug war', just like John Lennon and JFK. When will you people learn?

Nothing against JFK, but who needs a speech from a politician messing up such a great folk song in mid-performance! I realize this is part of a documentary not a "concert film" as such, but I'd love to hear and see Ochs performance uninterrupted.
