http://philjdrums.com | I added some drum parts to Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars with a bit of a "lazier", swingin' pocket. This one is super fun. Don't forget to nod ya head! :) New video every Tuesday!

+Phil J Drums Dude, you should cover some of the songs from Whiplash. I would LOVE to watch you play some Jazz.

Absolutely loved the rim groove, and I'm very impressed by your control and speed moving from one side of the kit to the other (one area I am lacking). Very creative. In the bridge section (Uptown funk you up), I think it could have more more creative. The cymbal accents were nice, but I feel like there was too much of a "dead space." You should check out the cover done by Troy Wright. He gives that section more of a solo/gospel chops feel to it. All in all, very creative and well done. Keep up the good work!

the way you play is the most organic I've ever seen in a drummer. Right up there with Travis Barker. Always great to see your covers, don't you ever stop!

amazing timing in all of your videos. You embody how drums should be played and that is that they should be played for Fun. It's a blast watching you play and kill it. I can tell you hit the rudiments daily. Keep it up. You are solid. P.S. you make Luke Holland look slow and you have way better tempo. (Just my opinion).
