John Carpenter wanted to play this over the closing credits of The Thing, but the studio wouldn't let him.

I listened to this song when I was just a young girl and loved it. I've never known what "The Thing" was, and don't choose even now to think it was any sort of disease. It was just a cute song with a catchy tune and something to leave you guessing! No need to make any more out of it!

I sure hope I don't get caught up with a "knock, knock knock" either. Kinda reminds me of Jumanji remember Jumanji?? They found a box and they couldn't get rid of the damn thing after that.

I'd certainly rather be living back then than now. Actually, I'd like to be born about 1870, and die before WWII. I prefer the problems back then to the problems now.

Yes, he did the voice of Baloo, in Jungle Book. Phil Harris was a bandleader, and the sitcom radio show with his wife "The Phil Harris Alice Faye Show" was one of the funniest radio programs, and was still on the radio after other programs had been driven off the air by the advent of television.
