This album was something, an experience... I have had listened to it millions of times, several times a day. And I recall the base line of this song every day. I am a keyboard player and sound designer and today I still having problems trying to imitate some of the phrases of this song. No clue how they did it back then unless you spend countless hours note by note.

My favourite track from Very Relentless (though it'd be better without the crazy vocals). Still sounds fab 15 years on... I remember having to order Very Relentless from an advertiser in Record Collector as it wasn't available in Smiths/Our Price where I lived - sold out immediately.

Thankyou Linkpin. I have been trying to track this down for ages, having heard it played on the radio but as usual they didn't credit who the artist was. This is awesome and will be played at my funeral to celebrate what is great about this world, and teach others the true meaning of great British music :)

This would have been PERFECT for the Ironman movie. Tony Stark is a billionaire, the "man who has everything," and synth pop stuff goes well with high tech gear such as his Ironman suit. Makes sense, right?

Why is this album so good? When I got into PSB (got every album...) when I was younger, VERY became and remains my favorite. When I read that there was a double album that was even better, I kind of obsessed and had to buy it pronto (shipped from some website). It was like this was their brilliant afterthought. Totally ingenious from beginning to end. Thank you Neil and Chris for making music that people enjoy beginning to end. You really created music FOR people.
