I'll be suicidal when bruce dies (he got me into music when I was a kid) but I'm also an electronic "musician"...check my channel but most of what I wrote sucked...and I think bruce conveyed the emotion more but I feel this is a better song musically. You paid Bruce his homage but made it your own. Best Bruce cover I ever heard.

I had a sudden nostalgia when I listen to this track for no reason.Maybe because I listened this while on the trip back from Europe. It was a nice time there.

I have three thoughts about this track. One is how the boys once again show their unassailable talent for covering a song in a way which makes that old cliché of making it "their own" ring resoundingly of truth. The second notion is that this recording further supports a feeling I've had for a long time that Springsteen is something of an heir apparent to Bob Dylan, not only because they have a very similar run-along style of lyricism, but primarily because their work never shines to me in their own voice the way it can positively glimmer in someone else's.And the third idea is that I was struck with how the song hooks me into the storyline of THE WALKING DEAD. For one, it would sound good featured in a segment of the series, but for another, and most importantly to me, the lyric (along with PSB's haunting musical arrangement) paints vivid images of the unrelentingly bleak world presented in the TV show. It may be anti-war in all of its intentions, but nearly every word suits the desolate atmosphere and the voyage into all kinds of darkness perfectly in my experience of both.

No offense but where's the video. A photo is lame. Love the album though.
