Now this is music. When people say "the world hasn't gotten worse, we just have more access to news" the evidence is in the music. The world has gone from 'Make Someone Happy' to fill in the _ _ _ _ _.

One of Perry's best, and that's saying a lot. He was ageless - managed to survive Elvis - was a very nice guy in person. This gem is from 1961. I don't understand why the Jimmy Durante version is more popular - weird!

I love this song. I sat with my boyfriend yesterday and watched the fireworks at KD while listening to this.

The Voice: 1915

I always thought that Dean Martin and Perry Como had very similar voices, but I guess in some way Frank and Perry have a slight similarity.

Love and Marriage was Frank Sinatra...

Perry Como and Frank Sinatra have a similar timbre in their voices. I love Perry's interpretation. Does he also sing Love and Marriage (the opening theme in Married with Children)? Thank you for this video/recording =-)

I grew up with that same ethic...where we learned to appreciate all kinds of music. I the words of nearly every song from the 1930s to the 1960s, thanks to my parents' eclectic musical taste!!

Perry Como looks --to me, anyway-- like a grown-up Ritchie Petrie from the Dick Van Dyke Show.

Heavens to Murgatroid! I've always loved this song since hearing it sung on the "Sleepless in Seattle" soundtrack by the late great Jimmy Durante. And Perry's version is SUCH a delight! It really swings...but yet keeps the magic of the lyrics shining bright! THANK YOU so very much for posting this absolutely adorable "blast from the past" for us to enjoy! You've MADE my day & my weekend! CHEERS! :-)
