I have just listened to Melody Gardot's version, and Found it not bad, but for me there is know comparison to the great Perry Como's version.

If you've not listened to Melody Gardot's version of this, do. It's lush.

Have always loved Perry Como. His daughter=in-law and granddaughters (and this year his great granddaughter) always have a special called The Como Christmas in November in SB, IN. Am going to get to go this year. It lists the musical as ending with a tribute to Perry. He was so very special.

Was there ever anyone smoother? No screaming. No loud notes...just sweet, soft music and the most soothing sounds. He was the best!

Wonderful rendition. This is from the movie of the same name. Perry appeared in that film with Harry James, who also has a a great recording of If I'm Lucky.
