A lot of people would say that they prefer Periphery's instrumentals. I like the vocalist, whatever his name is.

I was specting djent, or a more aggressive change like dillinger's cover, only vocals change and the drums on the intro makes big difference, otherwise solid sound on the rest.

Guitar, drums were great. Singing totally killed it for me. Maybe I'm too used to James' voice. For some reason it felt really weak. Even the screaming at the "land mines" part felt like it lacked energy. Maybe it's the mixing. Not sure.

I personally think that this cover is quite amazing with how they have made it their own and not only done a great cover, but is also no where near exact to how the original song sounds, some parts I prefer, like I prefer the drums in this version as they are much more technical than Lars could ever pull off, but I prefer the heaviness of the chorus in the original. Also when the singer in this version (only just getting into periphery) goes into the higher register for the second verse was unexpected and gave a more emotive feel to the song which I do quite like. Overall this cover is amazing and it would be pretty cool if they did it live.
