This is a beautiful song.a radio rock DJ once said that Paul is such a music genius that he can even make a Scottish waltz great.

I've always loved this song...well, not always; only when I learned who its singer-songwriter was. When I first heard it on my father's car radio in 1977, I had no idea who the group was — it didn't bring McCartney to mind at all — and I dismissed it as just another piece of mawkish treacle on the level of "Rock of Ages, Cleft for Me," because I sensed my dad didn't like it either. Only after I bought a 45 of Wings' latest single "Girls' School" (a routine rocker) and then played the B-side (actually the A-side, because "Mull" didn't make it in the USA, so they had to favor the rockier Side B) did I fall in love with it, surprised it was actually McCartney. Now it may be my favorite of Macca's solo songs, particularly for its bagpipes. Thanks for posting!
