Was a young singer. Johnny Garber who was top DJ in Ohio & sold rights to the name American Bandstand, called me & asked me to come & listen. Had a crude recording of some Brits in Germany. He said when their first really well done 45 comes out it would change everything. IT DID. A few years ago at NAMM in Nashville I was signing autographs & the most recognizable voice in music behind me said, "Who's he?" I got to meet Paul. So star struck I didn't even tell him I write because of HIM.
