Personally I don't equate speed and loudness with soul? This misses the mark. If you want soul listen to John Lee Hooker or Muddy Waters singing I Am the Blues. Not loud... Not fast... Not tricky.... Just to the point. This guy is groping for substance that can only come from the heart... has nothing to do with fast licks and techno crap.
