great version, always loved his voice.. theres just one thing..the way he always delivers one line which is critical to the song...he says "i'm hoping to "kick off" the planet" but it should be " I'm hoping to "kick", But the planet is gloowing etc"...kinda a small point but one word changes everything....its like the best line in the song

You know when you hear a cover of a song that you don't even like that much, and the cover makes you see something totally new in the original? This cover has made me appreciate the original song, but this stripped back cover is in my opinion better than the original which is cluttered with redundant 80's noise. Want to see another amazing cover Paul does, check out his cover of Careless Whispers, or even Billie Jean. Paul Dempsey is brilliant
