Thanks for posting these. This album is available in the States for 100+ dollars. Too steep for my blood, unfortunately though I would snap it up in a heartbeat if the price came down. Good to be able to hear these tunes.

agree 100%. Nothing worth making it just like the original. Take the song, turn it around, make it yours. Perfect example is Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt."

Patti Smith does this thing some serious justice, on a re-creation type level. i feel like many people who do not like this rendition are expecting a replication, and not an entirely different musical composition.

this is a cool album. I hope it has brought Achtung Baby to a new audience, especially because U2 are desperately uncool with people my age (18-26), which is really unfortunate as most of the popular bands now that my age group listens to are heavily influenced by U2.

i gotta say..i'm pleasantly surprised...my sister was a fan of hers and would play her albums all the time when i was only 11 yrs old,..and now , as a professional musician at 41 yrs old, i can see why she loved her so much...great version !
